My creative story begins as a young child. While most girls my age were playing with dolls, I would spend hours messing with Play-doh. I would take my mother's "food order" and "cook" each meal she requested. I would roll, smash, build, and coil the dough into the goodies she had ordered. My imagination didn’t stop there; I would escape into building animals, homes, or people with my basket of Play-doh. It was a daily activity for me before I started kindergarten. 

When I was 8 years old, mom told me I needed an after-school activity to pursue. She mentioned various dance classes, sports teams, and musical instruments I could try, but I had no interest in any of them. Luckily for me, Studio 212 had just opened for classes, and my mom signed me up. I loved it! In fact, I’ve never stopped loving it. For these last eleven years, I have attended classes and pursued my passion for all things clay.
